The summer has been a prolific one for Professor Wei Shi’s team, including doctoral student Alireza Geravand, in collaboration with Professor Leslie A. Rusch, whose discovery has been widely praised in the media.
Indeed, their new silicon chip technology, which promises to carry more than 1,000 gigabits per second with optimized energy consumption, has been widely reported in scientific journals and the mainstream media.
