Infrastructures and laboratories

COPL researchers have at their disposal an impressive array of optics-photonics equipment, in addition to a state-of-the-art research infrastructure that is in many ways unique in the world and allows them to work in synergy.

Our installations

Before being a strategic cluster, COPL has carried out its mission as a leader in research and innovation in optics, photonics and lasers since its creation in 1989 as a Université Laval recognized research centre.

Although today the two entities are partially segmented, one cannot exist without the other and both are intimately linked by their research and training objectives.
