The 1st edition of the RÉQOP – COPL Summer School, an initiative that’s here to stay
Retour aux nouvelles
On June 5, the first summer school organized by the Réseau étudiant québécois en optique photonique (RÉQOP) supported by COPL was held in conjunction with our Annual Conference.
Activities focused on cross-disciplinary skills training for our graduate students attracted some 100 participants.
Themes such as navigating doctoral studies and the job market; from idea to device design; and the round table on the experience of photonics start-up founders kept the audience enthralled from start to finish.
Many thanks to our speakers who agreed to pass on a piece of their knowledge and experience for the benefit of the next generation of experts in the field.
