PhD offer in simulation and theory of high-intensity laser-matter interactions
The research group currently has a PhD position in theoretical physics in the field of high-intensity laser-matter interaction, under the supervision of François Fillion-Gourdeau and François Légaré.
The research project will be carried out at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique – Centre Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications (INRS-EMT), 1650 boulevard Lionel-Boulet, Varennes (Québec), J3X 1P7, Canada. The candidate will be part of the Advanced Laser Light Source (ALLS) laboratory, home to Canada’s most powerful laser with a peak power of 750 TW, and will work closely with a dynamic experimental group.
