COPL stands out at the 2026 Grand Rendez-vous de la recherche, organized by Université Laval

On March 31 at the Québec City Convention Center, Université Laval hosted the second edition of its event dedicated to showcasing its wide-ranging research fields, which have shaped its enviable global reputation since the university’s founding.

This valuable research, a driving force behind societal progress, contributes both through its analysis of contemporary issues and through the development of innovative technologies and concrete solutions that improve everyone’s quality of life.

COPL was in attendance, highlighting its multidisciplinary expertise across the photonics value chain. To showcase its expertise, a display was designed to present major projects in the synthesis of glass materials, the design and manufacture of optical fibers, and the development of devices.
