Caroline Boudoux, a full professor in the Engineering Physics Department at Polytechnique Montréal and a member of COPL, would be the first woman from her home university to receive this distinction from Optica.
Optica (formerly OSA), Advancing Optics and Photonics Worldwide, is the society dedicated to promoting the generation, application, archiving and dissemination of knowledge in the field.
