A successful 180-degree turn for the 30th International Liquid Crystal Conference (ILCC 2026), held in Quebec City from June 21 to 26
Retour aux nouvelles
From June 21 to 26, 2026, Université Laval, in collaboration with COPL, served as the official host of the 30th International Liquid Crystal Conference (ILCC 2026).
For the occasion, the ATRIUM of the Alexandre Vachon Pavilion was decorated in its finest to welcome some 325 participants from 32 countries.
Guess which distant country was the most represented? Japan, with its delegation of 54 conference attendees.
This just goes to show that liquid crystal research is a leading field in Japan.
Congratulations to Professor Tigran Galstian from Université Laval, chair of the 2026 conference, who successfully brought together experts in the field in the old capital.
