Sylvain G. Cloutier at the heart of a team that received the CRIAQ-RSRI award at the ADRIQ gala

The iNORTH group, comprising ÉTS professors Ghyslain Gagnon, Sylvain G-Cloutier, Yvan Petit and Éric Wagnac, along with Calogy Solutions, CAE inc. and the Université de Sherbrooke, received the CRIAQ-RSRI (regroupements sectoriels de recherche industrielle) award at the ADRIQ gala on November 23.

The award recognizes research aimed at improving and better managing the heat released by lithium-ion batteries, in order to increase their capacity and lifespan. In addition to being used in electric and hybrid vehicles for over a decade, these batteries are also highly prized in the aerospace sector.
