Cloutier of \u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure (\u00c9TS) and Wei Shi of Universit\u00e9 Laval, the Hybrid integrated systems of Light (HiLight) infrastructure project receives $8 million from the Canada Foundation for Innovation and the Quebec government.<\/p>\n<p>Professors Shi &amp; Cloutier, behind the project, propose to push back the boundaries of science by pooling infrastructures between Universit\u00e9 Laval (UL), Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke (UdS), \u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure (\u00c9TS) and Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res (UQTR).<\/p>\n<p>This multi-institutional initiative aims to develop new components and integrate them into high-level assemblies to improve functionality, reduce energy consumption and catapult data transmission speeds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Led by professors Sylvain G.
