Congratulations to Heide Ibrahim<\/a> on her appointment as Director of the \u00a0Advanced Laser Light Source<\/a> (ALLS) at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS).<\/p>\n

Her predecessor, Fran\u00e7ois L\u00e9gar\u00e9<\/a>, now Director of the Centre \u00c9nergie, Mat\u00e9riaux et T\u00e9l\u00e9communications, had nothing but good things to say when he passed the torch to her.<\/p>\n

“As a researcher driving science in ALLS, she has been an integral part of our facility for many years. Heide made distinguished contributions for the infrastructure upgrade with high average-power lasers in 2017. Having been a vital member of the ALLS management team since 2019, she has been pivotal in shaping the strategic plan of ALLS and in achieving recognition as a Canadian national user infrastructure under the CFI-MSI program. Consequently, her transition into this leadership role is a natural progression.”<\/p>\n
